The project begins with the vision statement and completes with the final external release. The project is divided into many iterations; each of which culminates in an accepted build or an internal release. Upon the final iteration, this build becomes the release candidate. A round of regression is performed on this release candidate and any bugs that would violate the test thresholds must be fixed. The final release is made ready for deployment or media control.
